Energy Procurement
LPB is an undisputed leader in the strategic procurement of electricity, fossil fuels and renewable energy. We have surpassed 16 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity under contract since the company's founding. Over 12 billion kWh is comprised of active contracts negotiated by LPB. LPB has helped clients from multinational corporations to small businesses and school districts reduce energy costs by up to 30% or more through strategically procuring electricity and fossil fuels.
Procurement activities are managed out of LPB offices in Houston, Texas and Eatontown, New Jersey. LPB manages the entire procurement process, from identification and approval procedures, to administration of the bidding process and contract execution. LPB also offer reverse auctions through an online bidding platform in addition to traditional sealed bids. Relationships with nearly 40 retail electric providers (REPs) across the country are leveraged; however, LPB remains fully independent and impartial to ensure clients have tailored solutions that meet unique operational needs and risk tolerances.
With your usage and cost data available to the LPB Energy Management Commodities Desk, we are in a terrific position to help you identify savings opportunities wherever competitive supply choices are available to you. Our commodities experts leverage their collective experience, real-time market analysis and mass purchasing power to maximize results for our clients.
