New Energy Management Options Available to Federal Government 

LPB Energy Management Awarded U.S General Services Administration (GSA) Energy Management Program Support Contract

DALLAS, TEXAS (September 24, 2008) – LPB Energy Management has been awarded a GSA schedule contract (#GS-21F-0101U) by the U.S. government for Energy Management Program Support. The Energy Management Program Support contract (SIN 871 200) resides under the Facilities Maintenance and Management category.

In order to become an approved supplier under a GSA schedule, LPB Energy Management underwent an arduous application process including the negotiation of fair and reasonable pricing. 

“LPB Energy Management is committed to helping our clients save on rates, reduce and measure consumption,” said LPB Energy Management president Matthew Berke.

With the successful negotiation of this contract, LPB Energy Management is now pre-approved to offer federal government entities Procurement Support and Bill Processing and Payment Services. LPB Energy Management’s Procurement Support Service encompasses Energy Planning and Strategies, Energy Choice Analysis and Risk Management and allows government entities to hire LPB Energy Management to advise on products, suppliers, hedging strategies, and market dynamics while helping them purchase energy in deregulated markets.

LPB Energy Management’s Bill Processing and Payment Services encompass the GSA’s Metering Services and Billing Management and Oversight and allows government entities to hire LPB Energy Management to assist them with utility bill processing and payment while simultaneously uploading billing data into its’ Utility Manager™ software.
