LPB Wins Exclusive State of Texas Energy Management Contract

Dallas, April 11, 2006 - The state of Texas recently awarded an exclusive energy management services contract to LBP Energy Management. The four and a half-year, $30 million contract was executed on March 15, 2006.

Under terms of the contract, LPB will be the “exclusive provider of energy procurement, energy and utility bill auditing, energy and utility bill processing and bill payment services to state agencies of the State of Texas.”Other state entities may also elect to participate in the new energy management program. With the signing of this contract, LPB becomes one of the largest consultants in the field of energy management in the state, representing approximately 5% of the energy procurement market.
